Grounded Operations Managment

Application Icon

The Grounded Operations Management prototype was developed using the MEAN development stack with the ArcGIS API for JavaScript for my final technical report at Georgian College. The initial prototype was developed for the Inspections and Locates department at Alectra Utilities. The purpose of the application was to:

  1. Map out the daily work of the inspectors.
  2. Monitor the progress of on-going jobs.
  3. Create transparency between members of the department by providing a common interface.

The video below shows the first version of the prototype. Further development is underway to improve the overall speed as well as extend even more of the GIS and data management functionality.
